Erin Witbeck attended various schools until she found her way at Prescott College in Arizona. It was there she began pursuing Multicultural and Sustainable Education as well as Wilderness Therapy. Erin has a history as a Wilderness Therapist and guide, Farmer, doula, childbirth educator and a teacher.
A weaver of community and intention, Erin is passionate about service and story. Erin enjoys traveling, writing, and creating through photography, upcycling furniture and traditional crafts. Cooking and eating ethnic foods at a long shared table among her family and friends is a favorite way to share time.
Learning about humans, resilience, sustainability and stories are inspiring Erin toward pursuing the longtime dream of creating a children’s book. The main characters in her current story are her husband, and two kids, their dog, kitten and 8 chickens. They can be found rafting the rivers of the west or in the USVI where their family business exists on a 50’ wooden catamaran her husband built. Loving and living in Lyons with deep gratitude for this community since 2011.
